Steve Williams becomes WJA Training and Safety Chairman
Highly-experienced WJA-approved training instructor Steve Williams has been selected as the new Chairman of the Water Jetting Association’s Training and Safety Committee.
Steve has been a member of the WJA’s Ruling Council for around 20 years and had also been a member of the Training and Safety Committee before his appointment.
Exciting training developments
He takes over from Darren Hamilton, who has stepped down from the role but remains on the Training and Safety Committee and is also a member of the WJA Ruling Council.
Steve said: “I am looking forward to continue Darren’s excellent work. There have been some important and exciting developments in WJA training over the last 12 months.
“I will be working with the committee and all WJA members to bed the changes in and gain the biggest possible value from them for our members and all water jetting stakeholders.”
Depth of training experience
Darren said: “I’m looking forward to supporting Steve in his new role and contributing to training and safety initiatives the committee works on over the coming months.”
WJA President John Jones said: “Steve’s appointment reflects the depth of experience and expertise the WJA can call on to further its aims of representing its members and promoting safe and productive practices across our industry.”
