COVID-19 – Extension of Expiry Date for Jetting Cards
Due to the continuing severe challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, WJA has extended the expiry date for all water jetting training certificates and photo ID cards to July 1st 2021.
This extends the expiry date, previously set at March 31st 2021, by a further three months.
All WJA water jetting training courses (including practical modules) can still be held as long as they take place in a COVID-19 secure environment, in line with government requirements.
The WJA has developed comprehensive advice for training providers, instructors and client organisations about to create such COVID-19 secure environments. However, the association recognises that these arrangements may delay attendance at training courses.
In these circumstances, the extension of the training certification and photo ID expiry date is designed to give contractors and operators more time to arrange Safety Awareness refresher training and so maintain WJA certification.
Companies and operatives that want to make use of the facility must first confirm / book a refresher course with a WJA training provider who will then complete an extension form on their behalf. This will then be submitted to the WJA so its international database can be updated.
