Hughes Pumps Acquires Aqua Energy

Leading UK manufacturer Hughes Pumps has announced its acquisition of Aqua Energy (UK), a long established, leading Scottish manufacturer and supplier of high and ultra-high pressure water jetting equipment, and robotic cleaning systems, to over 50 countries worldwide.

Commenting on the acquisition, Hughes Pumps Managing Director Phil Cranford said: “Hughes Pumps has a longstanding relationship with Aqua Energy, co-operating on many international projects in recent years. This acquisition will increase Hughes Pumps’ market share in many of the sectors and markets it already operates in, and will add a new dynamic to the company’s already well established expertise and resources, enabling further expansion and development in important markets across the globe. We look forward to working with past, present and future Aqua Energy customers.”

To retain the Aqua Energy brand name, Hughes Pumps has created a subsidiary company; Hughes Aqua Energy to operate alongside Hughes Pumps, which will continue to operate in its current form.
